Figma Toolkit
Arcade's Figma toolkit lets LLMs interact with Figma via the Figma REST API — reading design files, querying component libraries, managing comments, and exporting assets.
Capabilities
- File & page inspection: Retrieve file structure, page lists, and specific nodes (with optional raw paint/style/gradient data) without loading full documents.
- Component & style libraries: Browse published components, component sets (variant groups), and styles from individual files or team libraries, with pagination support.
- Asset export: Export frames and nodes as images; returns temporary download URLs valid ~14 days.
- Comments & collaboration: Read comments on files (paginated) and post new comments or threaded replies, optionally attached to specific nodes.
- Team & project navigation: List team projects and the files within each project; resolve the authenticated user's profile.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Figma provider. See the Arcade Figma auth provider docs for setup details.
