Arcade tools designed for LLMs to interact with Salesforce
The Salesforce toolkit lets LLMs interact with a Salesforce org through Arcade. It covers the full CRM lifecycle — identity resolution, lead management, contact and account lookup, opportunity tracking, and activity logging.
Capabilities
- Identity & context — Resolve the authenticated user's profile and org info to establish context before other operations.
- Lead lifecycle — Create, search, update, and convert leads into Contacts, Accounts, and Opportunities; converted leads return linked record IDs automatically.
- Contact & account management — Create contacts, search by keyword/account/title, and retrieve rich account snapshots including related contacts, leads, notes, calls, tasks, emails, and events.
- Opportunity pipeline — Create, search, update, and retrieve opportunities with stage validation, line items, contact roles, and open-task enrichment; supports per-user or org-wide pipeline views.
- Activity tracking — Log completed calls, create future tasks (reminders, follow-ups), list and filter assigned tasks (overdue filtering supported), and update or complete tasks.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Salesforce provider. See the Arcade provider docs for setup details: https://docs.arcade.dev/en/references/auth-providers/salesforce
Secrets
-
SALESFORCE_ORG_SUBDOMAIN— The subdomain of your Salesforce org's URL. For a standard org this is the<subdomain>portion ofhttps://<subdomain>.salesforce.com; for a My Domain org it may be a custom string (e.g.,mycompany). Find it in Setup → My Domain within your Salesforce admin console. This tells the toolkit which org instance to target. -
SALESFORCE_MAX_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS— An integer cap on how many parallel Salesforce API requests the toolkit may issue at once. Set this to stay within your org's API rate limits. A reasonable starting value is5; lower it if you hitREQUEST_LIMIT_EXCEEDEDerrors. No special dashboard page is required — this is a configuration value you choose based on your org's edition and API allocation.
For instructions on configuring secrets in Arcade, see the tool secrets guide. You can also manage secrets directly at https://api.arcade.dev/dashboard/auth/secrets.
